Drainage cell, sub-soil drainage layer for ground and green roof

Drainage Cell is commonly used on buildings’ platforms and roof top. The Drainage Cell System is manufactured from 100% recycled plastics in a flexible, honeycomb design of Sub­soil HDPE Modular Drainage Layer, providing high compressive strength yet lightweight modules for sub­surface drainage purpose.

The main function of Drainage Cell is to act as a drainage layer on top of Waterproofing Layer to prevent excessive water from ponding. It is usually used together as a green roof system for commercial or recreational roof gardens in which it improves air quality, increase heat insulation while reducing noise and sound transfer.
